MWM Auctions

My name is Michelle Johnson. I have been around the antiques business my whole life, I grew up around high end Victorian Antiques and learned to recognize quality items.

As a young teenager I started working in a local auction house. I started out by working the auction writing on lot tags with bidder numbers and worked my way up cataloging, photographing, spotting, working with consignors and everything in-between. During my time doing this online auctions just started to come into the picture, I started the auction house doing this and coming up with a more streamlined process that I helped facilitate to other auctions in the area.

I took some time away from the business and the bug never left me, I have always spent time attending auctions and buying and selling privately.

My soon to be husband William Calamita and I have decided that now would be a good time to start this adventure together as owners of MWM Auctions. We both have a lot of experience and background in business management.
